Good stuff. In the book written by Art Rooney II, (and pardon the spelling here) Ruanaidh, (an outstanding read if you haven’t read it) the story of the hex starts with a loan Art senior made to Art Model to the tune of $10-$15k or so back in the mid 60s. After repeated unheeded requests that Model pay up, Art Sr, made one final request, or ELSE!. Well, Model never paid up, and Art never mentioned it again to his dying day. The “what else” was never mentioned either, but it”s fairly obvious what it was.

Always been kind of neutral on M. Mitchell - but damn if he wasn't SPOT ON with his comments. The most pointed of which were the last four: "Steelers against the World".
