James did have a great game tonight (10 catches for 97 yds). McDonald was ballin', too, before he went out (4 for 52 yds). 14 catches for 161 yds by our TE's? Say what??? 

Nix even caught a TD!

one has little to do with the other.  My prediction looked good for quite a while.  I"ve always like James.  He has the height and all the other stuff you need in a TE. Yeah he has to block better but that comes along with time.  This trash defense is going to be the end of the Steelers this year in the playoffs.  They are horrible and it doesn't appear we have the personal to fix it.  I don't think Haden coming back helps either.  This group is just helpless out there.  I have never in my life seen receivers running so open in the secondary.  There are no DBs within 10 yards of a receiver before the ball is thrown to them.  How did we end up with a defense this bad?  I think it's Ben's last year and we are going to get hammered by the Pats and an early out in the playoffs.  I am discouraged about the defense right now

Ben and Brown were incredible. Boswell is now the 4th B

Bryant is toast - I think he will be traded. Liked the fact that he was relieved of return responsibilities by Toissant on last KO. F Bryant.

161 yards by tight ends... I remember about 20 years ago, the late great Myron Cope colorfully exclaiming a completion to Mark Bruner “ A pass completion to a tight end. I don’t believe it!! Yoiks and double Yoiks!!” Things have certainly changed.

I'm seeing more and more of Ben taking what the defense is giving him (i.e. drops off to Bell and the T.E.s) The once the defense is sucked in he hit Brown over the top.

Anyone know why Brown went out of bounds on his last reception? Was he out of gas? Seems like he had the sideline angle on that and could have taken it to the house.
