SWEET! Way to go, Cam Heyward! And DuPree with the recovery. Nice.

That's sack # 12 for Cam on the year. MOST impressive!!! Shows how much our defense has changed, even though we still run a 3-4. D-linemen rarely got sacks during the Cowher era.

Did you see that? On the sideline? Ben was talking to Tomlin and some dude with glasses and Haley was standing off by himself not talking to Ben

That's Randy Fichtner, QB coach.

He must be the "buffer" Crash was taking about.

why would you not take the penalty and force them back before the field goal?

Something has to give there Tim.   Can't have that.  Ben retires or Haley goes

Yeah, surprised me a little, but they're probably afraid Pittsburgh would end up with a TD or first down. Only giving up a FG there was a small victory for Houston.

Agreed that something has to give. But Ben is NOT going to retire soon. He's got at least 2 more years after this season IMO.

I really don't understand the offensive floundering in this half. We look lethargic.

Wake the F up and put this thing away so we can rest/protect some guys.

Lucked out on the facemask on that sack. I'm still kinda surprised AV made the Pro Bowl. I love the guy, but he blocked no one on that play.

And Bell to the house. Great run. Monster blocks by Pouncey and DeCastro again. Terrible safety play by Houston.

Yeah but it looked like he released on it no?  He let him go.  Maybe a blown assignement?

I think they know with these QBs there's not much chance of the Texans coming back.  Running clock is all.  I hate it to

He did release him. Chose to take the guy coming from the outside.

It is frightening how bad our LB's and safeties are against the run. Spence is lost.

Shoot. Haden thought he had that.

A lot of "flat-footed" play by our safeties this year.

Speaking of linebackers... I'm starting to get a little tired of seeing TJ Watt let the OT run him out of the play. Over and over, he ends up 5 yds behind the QB.

That was offensive interference. Great catch, but he was yanking Haden -- who had excellent coverage -- all over the place.

Haley was chewing out Eli Rogers after that 3rd down incompletion. Effort was kinda lackluster by Eli. It was a bit of a pick route and he ran it in a lazy way and wasn't ready or quite in position for the ball.

Rogers has been a disappointment this year. I had high expectations for him coming into his 3rd season.

Kinda scary that we allowed a 100-yard rusher tonight. Not gonna complain too loudly because we're winning 34-6, but they did not have any trouble running it against us. Good thing they have ZERO passing game or we might have a problem. 176 yds rushing for Houston so far and the game isn't quite over.

yeah but most of it was meaningless.  They had no choice but to run it.  I will agree that we should have had at least 7 in the box all night.  I really think the game dictated that though..   They were pretty happy letting them run clock.  Man TIm, I'm usually the one bitching about things when we kill someone LOL
