1990 Steelers 41 vs Rams 10

The Steelers are victimized for a TD on the opening kickoff, but bounce right back on the strength of 4 Brister TD passes, 3 TDs by Merrill Hoge and overwhelming defense that forces LA into 3 turnovers. Pittsburgh's special teams also amend for their early gaffe with Rod Woodson kickoff returns of 44 and 49 yards (setting up 2 Anderson FGs) and blow the game open in the 3rd quarter when Larry Griffin and Dwight Stone pour in nearly untouched to nail Rams punter Keith English in the backfield at the Rams 6 before he can get the punt away, setting up a 1-yd TD by Hoge.

First thing, awesome site and a big thanks for accepting my membership here to the board. Secondly, just a heads up that the link for this game is unfortunately broken. Was looking forward to a re-watch of this one but will have to wait lol. Thanks!

Welcome to the board, JJ!

I checked all the links to this game on the site and on the board and everything seems to be working. Maybe give it another shot? Let me know if you continue to have trouble.

So I tested this link using another browser, another device, another network, etc etc etc and all had failed similarly basically confirming the issue wasn't just a one off

Decided to play with the link a little to see whether that made any headway and I quickly discovered that when I edit out the "_mnf" portion of the link it now works for me... Maybe check it again?

FIXED

Ah! Yes, I see the error on the "MP4" page. The link is correct 3 other places on the site but I missed the "what's new" section. Thanks for the heads up, JJ. It's corrected now.

You can find my complete list of games here: Complete Game List

If you want to see game summaries, just use the drop down menu at the top right of each page (and also up in the header at the top).

At halftime, Al, Frank and Dan examine the plight of the officials in the modern NFL and also debate whether instant replay should still be a part of the league. (I think it was gone the following year, only to return in '99 at least partially because of the Bus's ill-fated Thanksgiving coin flip in Detroit.)

After the game, a feature on the dominant '76 Steeler defense, and another one comparing the Steelers' linebackers of the seventies to the Chiefs' linebackers of the late sixties.
